Project Title: Light Curve Mapping and Period Verification of Delta CepheiAbstract / Justification:I propose the monitoring of the prototype Cepheid variable Delta Cephei (del Cep). The primary scientific goal is to map a high-precision multi-band light curve to monitor the star's pulsation dynamics and verify its current 5.366-day period against historical AAVSO data. This data will also serve as a foundational dataset for practicing advanced ensemble photometry via VPhot.Observing Strategy:Due to the bright nature of the target (V ~3.5 to 4.4), I request observations using the Bright Star Monitor (BSM) network with appropriately short exposure times to avoid saturation.Target: del Cep (RA 22.486186, Dec +58.415194)Filters: Standard Johnson B and VCadence: 1 to 2 times per night on clear nightsTotal Program Duration: 45 days to capture roughly 8 full phase cycles.

Put on a different BSM from the one used for proposal #281 and shoot for ~6 observations per night.
