| Proposal | PMAK V91 in Drako is listed in VSX as a HADS pulsating variable star with a period of 0.1011267 d and a range of 9.67 – 9.87 V. The AAVSO Observation Planner tool shows no observations. The star transits around midnight in early September. Time-series multi-color ( B, V, Rc) photometric measurements could provide a basis for a detailed study and possible publication. I request three or four observation runs of at least 2.5 hours each in late August and/or early September. |

Would you consider BVI rather than BVR? Covers wider bandpass.

committed to nh2. report when you have your 3 complete runs.

Ken, B, V, and Ic will be fine. I am concerned, however, about comp stars. AAVSO chart X42669RV (FOV=3 deg) shows comp stars only to the NW of PMAK V91, and several of them are over a degree away. The FOV of bsm_nh2 is 77x77 arcminutes. If the images are framed to place PMAK V91 near the SE corner, only two of the comp stars shown in the chart will be included. There are plenty of stars, just not stars with magnitude data. Is it possible to get some help in creating a sequence for this project?

I just received a message that a set of images have been uploaded to my VPhot account. I had no problem making a nice ensemble sequence of comp stars. I assume that the I-filter images are Cousins Ic. The images processed nicely. This framing works well. Don't change a thing.
