Outburst of GW Lib

Active Dates: April 12, 2007 – April 12, 2007

Abstract:

Outburst of the cataclysmic variable GW Lib detected, with the magnitude rising from 13.8 to 11.8 within a few hours on April 12, 2007. Time-series photometry in the V-band is urgently requested to study this rare outburst.

Justification:

GW Lib is experiencing a rare outburst, making it an ideal candidate for visual observations and V-band time-series photometry to understand its nature, whether as a recurrent nova or a WZ Sge star.
