Proposal #111

Good evening,

I am proposing that the following object be measured due to the length of time that they haven't been observed in according to the AAVSO Target Tool.
These are currently or have been recently Alert Notices/Campaign Objects.

R Aqr hasn't been observed at all, and an Urgent request was made by Dr. Lee Anne Willson (Iowa State University) for measurements from the Southern Observers back in April. Measurements should be done with the V, R, I, or B, but preferably V and I --or-- V and R, but not both.

The reason observations are difficult in the Northern Hemisphere is because it is too close to the Sun from a Northern vantage point.

R Aqr has an extensive history of observations and data tied to it according to SIMBAD, but due to recent requests, I believe it to be an important object to be observed.

The observation requirements would only be every 10 days. My proposal would be to measure every 10 days from June 15th 2019 to August 15th 2019. Longer if possible

The telescopes that need to be used will primarily be in the southern Hemisphere.
-Cerro Tololo International Observatory (CTIO)
-Mount John University Observatory (MJUO)
-BSM Berry (Australia)
-BSM South (Australia)

Due to seasons changing, unfavorable weather may be of concern here, but overall, since the observing cadence is every 10 days we should be successful.
