Proposal | Good evening, Per a direct request from E. Waagen in the AAVSO forum and Alert Notice 696 (https://www.aavso.org/aavso-alert-notice-696), immediate and urgent observations are needed in B due to an eclipse that of the binary that only occurs once every forty years. V band photometry is also critical but not as much so as in B. "Photometry obtained to date shows extremely interesting short low amplitude variations with a timescale of 10 to 20 days, as well as what appear to be spikes. These variations are most significant in B." I am requesting that B and V observations be made twice per night between six and ten hours apart. This is to study the modulations that have been seen in B. The alert notice asks that observations be continued until further notice. If a sudden rise in B is detected, it is also requested to follow up with a time series if possible. I request that BSM Berry is used for these observations. Thank you for your time and consideration. |

R Aqr is already being observed with the BSM telescopes.
