The supernova SN 2020ue (in NGC 4636) is, at this moment, the brightest of 2020. In addition, it was discovered in a very young phase that makes it especially interesting when it comes to making its light curve. From the first moment, a group of observers has intensively monitored this object, whose measurements have been sent to the AAVSO database. However, it is necessary to continue obtaining measurements of this interesting supernova now that its brightness begins to become weak to know its behavior in the final phases of its development. Therefore, we propose to perform photometry with different filters to know this behavior, as well as to be able to know the evolution of its color index, especially now that due to the crisis caused by the Covid-19 disease, many observatories are inactive due to the home isolation to which most of the inhabitants of the European continent are forced.

For this, we request the use of one of the telescopes of the AAVSO network as follows:

- A multiband observation (B, V, R, I and Clear) during 5 nights spaced every 4 days.
- We suggest 5 exposures of 150 seconds in each filter every night.
- We believe that the Arizona Sonoita Research Observatory telescope is the most suitable for this purpose.

We understand that it is a reasonable proposal because it is not necessary to use the telescope for a long time every night we ask for observations.

Plan created per your detailed request. (Thanks!!). Currently does not include C filter due to minor script error. Will fix soon. Plan monitoring is currently every 2 days rather than every 4 days with hope that it will make up for any bad weather. Send a comment when you want to stop imaging.

You will receive images in your VPhot account and the ftp site. You should set up a VPhot account with your observer code if you haven't done this already.

Hi, I saw I have two images in the AAVSO ftp to download. Just two .fts with B filter. Was something wrong in the observation session? I say this because of the images obtained with the other filters. Regards.

As you suggested in the last image upload via FTP, I do indeed need to increase the exposure to get more signal. I need to hit at least magnitude 17 in one shot. I thought that 150 seconds was enough but I see that no, I think I need at least 300 seconds of exposure, if possible more. If you need a location chart with the magnitudes of the field stars, please let me know. Thank you very much for the work.
