HIP 105217 was identified as variable by Hipparcos 30 years ago. Recent TESS full frame images allow this object to be identified as a GDOR with multiple periods of pulsation. The strongest periods are approximately 0.615 and 0.577 days. There are some indications from TESS of a period around 0.02 days (29 minutes).
I am requesting BSM images to accomplish the following:
-obtain images in multiple standard filters for these pulsations
-verify that the TESS photometry does not include the blend of multiple stars
-obtain 1 hour time series observations on some subset of nights to determine if the 0.02 d periods from TESS are real or are related to the 30 min. cadence of TESS.
I request B, V and Ic filters.
