Comments from Arne:
"The field is a bit crowded, so plenty of nearby comp stars but unknown if there might be a close companion or two. At -32, this is a tough field for northern telescopes, but doable. It is too faint, and the field is too crowded, for the current Australian BSMs - this situation will improve when they start using the E180's. I think Peter should ask the Sequence Team for comp stars closer to the target so that other telescopes, such as OC61, can be used. I'd also like at least a deep snapshot from TMO61 or OC61 to look for close companions, to help in understanding the amplitude of any variation in the target."- (37929) Peter Bealo — Feb. 1, 2021, 7:57 p.m.
I was wondering if this would be a problem. I'll ping the sequence team as soon as I figure out how! I saw it somewhere on the site in the past, just hadn't done so yet.

If you go to
https://app.aavso.org/vsp/
under the Variable Star Plotter banner is a link to "request a sequence"- (37929) Peter Bealo — Feb. 2, 2021, 2:04 p.m.
Wow, quick work on developing a sequence. Looks great. A couple stars may be problematical due to close companions, but several don't have that possible issue.

Committed to Berry and OC61.

The individual images from Berry2 of ASASSN-V J170615.23-322944.7 and ASASSN-V J181654.06-202117.6 are really nice, and I see no need for as many images as in the plan for binning. I have no idea how "booked up" that system is, but I think I can return about 30 min per observing night to use for whatever else may be in queue without affecting the quality of the data I report out.
Both variables use the same exposure series: qty 5 B 180 sec exposures, qty 3 V 120 sec, qty 3 R 120 sec and qty 3 I 120 sec images.
I'd be comfortable backing down to Qty 2 B 180 sec, qty 2 V 120 sec, qty 2 R 120 sec and qty 2 I 120 sec images.
If you think this is a good idea I'll make that note on the 185 and 186 proposal forms by Monday.
All the Best,
Peter
