RU Cam is a Cepheid Variable with a 22 day period and variability of 0.1 magnitude. AAVSO Journal 49 volume 1 included an article by John Percy that analyzed the pulsation cycle and concluded that the pulsation period for RU Cam has remained stable with a pulsation period of 21.75 using limited recent data. I propose to monitor RU Cam for a period of 70 days to cover 3 – 22 day cycles to see if the 0.1 magnitude variability can be measured and the 22 day period can be observed. I intend to submit the transformed time series data to the AAVSO International Database and present the process and results in a talk to my chapter of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada to encourage more interest in the AAVSO
