The VY Scl-type star MV Lyr is undergoing its first low state in six years. BVRI observations during the low state and subsequent return to normal brightness would be useful to study the evolution of the disk as it redevelops. There switch between low and high states can occur quite rapidly (the current fading event saw a 1.5 mag drop in < 2 days), so nightly coverage would be useful until solar conjunction precludes observations. Given the faintness of the object (V ~ 17, B should be similar) one of the larger telescopes would be best suited.

Arne suggests TMO61 for this project since SRO and MPO are down.
