Proposal | Because I now live in town I cannot observe from home. I have been participating in the HST campaign to observe 11 dwarf novae using iTelescope, but am limited by the cost. I would like to contnue but initially I would like to observe VW Hydri. It has magnitudes 8-14 and, from AAVSO data, regular eruption periods of about one month and super eruptions periods of about five months and it appears that another super eruption may be coming up. I would like to use the SA 200 filter on iTelescope T17 to get an occasional spectra during these occurrences. I've not used AAVSOnet before and may need some help. |

The TAC is in favor of this proposal but observing details are needed. We usually encourage observations in at least two filters so that the data can be transformed. Adding a filter has minimal cost once you're on target and usually adds science value.
