Proposal

Monitor the Super Nova Candidate list (SN Candidates campaign in VSX) in support of SNEWS, the Super Nova Early Warning System( https://snews2.org/ ) The goal is to have a light curve history to go back to after the SN event.
The current list in VSX is 184 stars.
The priorities would be set just above the survey level for minimum disturbance of other plans. Further, the priorities would be set to emphasize stars with little or no history in the AID.
Stars already in a survey would be commented out of the surveys so that this project would have precedence. A secondary project would be to have any survey images of these stars dug up and their photometry reported to the AID.
BVRI photometry is sought. 3 images in each color to be aggregated and transformed. These are mostly bright stars, so imaging may be below 10s.
Images would be routed to myself and Dan Zaharevitz ( ZDAB )
As the list is changed the plan would be modified. I can manage this; I just need the permission of the TAC.
The plan would be set on two BSM's, one south and one north. BSM_Berry and BSM_NM ?
Initial cadence of 10 days. To be adjusted as we judge the work flow as this data would be posted to the AID ASAP.
There will soon be a SNEWS web page in aavso.org. Progress with this proposal will be reported there on a regular basis as well as to the SNEWS Slack channel.

I'm going to switch this plan over to ZDAB so that he can see the comment stream and can add his own.
