Proposal | Target: Requested filters: Exposition times: Observation cadence: Observations start date: Expiration date: This proposal is a response to "Alert Notice 813: Nova in Sagittarius: N Sgr 2023 = TCP J17562787-1714548". My goal is to support visual and CCD observations that are already being conducted (Pearce, Andrew: B,I,R,V,Vis; Romanov, Filipp: B,I,R,V; Cseh, Viktor: TG) and to provide their continuity when the object becomes too faint for most telescopes to observe. Currently, FSM-OC61 is the only AAVSOnet's site that can observe N Sgr 2023 in upcoming weeks (and months actually). OC61 does not have preferred R and I filters but has SR and SI which I would like to be used instead (B, V, SR, SI). All data would be submitted to AAVSO database after VPhot analysis. I kindly ask TAC for quick decision. I am open to possible changes since it is uncertain how time-consuming this proposal would be in reality. Krzysztof Zieliński (ZKRA) |

Committed to OC61. You will need to check exposures and recommend image number to help with stacking. Running both short and long exposures together to help with decreasing magnitude issue. Hope for reasonable weather!
