From Arne:
"James Foster monitored this LMXB target a couple of years ago, perhaps for Alert Notice 592. The proposer should use the finding chart in that AN, as there is a very close companion. In addition to that, the data from FJQ indicates that this target lives around V=18-19 unless in outburst. So quality photometry is going to be very difficult, and will require the 60cm telescopes. In 60seconds, you can get SNR=100 on V=16 with a 60cm telescope. So to get decent signal/noise, I'd suggest at least 3x 3min at V and scale accordingly for the other filters. Perhaps the requester should get a night or two and demonstrate that they are able to use the images effectively before assigning a long-term monitoring program for this object."- (4726) Kenneth Menzies — June 4, 2023, 8:52 p.m.
Committed one night on mpo61 in V for you to check photometry. Advise if it works?

Hello, I received V images from MPO061. Photometry analysis shows behaviour around magnitude 18 in V. Photometry analysis could not be ended because there is no B images. Up to you to decide if you want to continue. best regards. FERA.

Eric:
You requested this proposal. Do you want to continue? What sort of SNR did you get for the V images? The B images will be more difficult. R and I images might be acceptable. You could submit just the V data.
BTW, MPO61 had hardware problems from a lightning strike. That's why you just got images!

Hello,
the SNR is 28 for 300s exposure. that seems to be very faint/difficult target. We can stop this request, I will find another target, could you have an idea about an interresting target ? (something usefull for community).
Best regards. Eric
