| Proposal | RZ Piscium usually clasified as an UXOr it's rather a variable of its own type. Its brightnes, normally of 11.5 mag. is occasionally dimmed for a short time (a few days) by 1 - 3 mag. There are some hints, that deepest dips may appear periodically. Although it was thouroughly studied many times (e.g. G.M. Kennedy et al. 2016 R. Soc. open sci. 4:160652 and references therein), the cause for those dimmings remains unclear. Moreover, it seems that so far this year the star has never returned to its normal brightness. Requested filters: B, V, R, I Use of data: Submitting to AAVSO Database after VPhot analysis |
