Proposal | Observe an RR Lyr type star that VSX indicates has only one observation in the AAVSO database. As it is not listed as showing the Blazhko effect, observe a few times per night to produce a phased light curve. No idea yet how long this proposal will be active. I previously observed RR Lyr itself as a way to get my feet wet with photometry, and the TAC suggested B, V, and I filters for that, so I assume the same will be wanted here. I'll let the TAC determine what "observe a few times per night" means, but if I were asked, I'd say it means 2-3 (possibly 4 in the long winter nights) times per night. |
