| Proposal | In support of the SNEWS/AAVSO collaboration to prepare for the next Core Collapse Supernova (CCSN), I would like to monitor the ten progenitor stars listed below. For each progenitor, a 30 second observation in each filter band (VRI or VI depending on the telescope used) should be adequate. I would like one observation per week for each filter band of each star. Please start as soon as possible and continue until June 1, 2024. At that time, I will assess the results and make modifications if necessary (add/delete targets, modify observation times, extend observations indefinitely, etc.). |

We're pausing on the supernova progenitor project until we hear from the organizers on target allocations. Arne is going to talk George and Ken at the Fall meeting about this.

You might want to mention to Arne, et. al the paper I referenced on the SNEWS Alert/Observing Forum. Several of the authors are part of the SNEWS team. I used this paper to come up with the targets listed in this proposal. Just a thought...
