Proposal

I am seeking to obtain V, Rc, and Ic data on this blazar with the W30 telescope for the purpose of contributing to the multifrequency campaign of Swift, WEBT, and VERITAS (TeV collaboration). I need 360 second images (3-two minute exposures) in each of the three aforementioned filters approximately once per week for the entire season (through around July 1). (Included in the images are comparison stars that I will use to measure the magnitude of Mkn 501.) Such observations can be considered as low priority in the sense that they can be inserted as time permits.

I use MIRA Pro 7 UE software package to do the reduction as CCD aperture photometry. These data, together with others participating in this important campaign, would be published in the standard scientific journals in collaboration with colleagues at WEBT, Swift, and VERITAS. Naturally, the AAVSO would be gratefully acknowledged in any publication.

This one has been approved for W30 but I don't see it in the Telescope drop-down list.
