Proposal

This is just a request to continue the program of monitoring RZ Psc, performed last season with AAVSOnet NM and TX telescopes (proposal 381). It brought the densest coverage of its lightcurve in history.

RZ Piscium usually clasified as an UXOr is rather a variable of its own type. Its brightnes, normally of 11.5 mag. is occasionally dimmed for a short time (a few days) by 1 - 3 mag. Although it was thouroughly studied many times (e.g. G.M. Kennedy et al. 2016 R. Soc. open sci. 4:160652 and references therein), the cause for those dimmings remains unclear. According to some suggestions the star is eclipsed by some dark objects orbiting it. If it's true, then close monitoring for several years shoud eventually reveal some periodicities.

Requested filters: B, V, R, I
Magnitude range: 11 - 14.5 (V)
Cadence: once per day
Number of exposures per run: 2 per filter
Start date: asap
End date: as long as possible

Use of data: Submitting to AAVSO Database after VPhot analysis
