Hello!

I would like to request images of the star UY ORI, a UXOR type star, which has few photometries in the AAVSO database, and those few are in V and visual filters. I analyzed it with ASAS-SN and there it also has photometries only in the V filter.
For this reason I chose it to request images in the B, V, R and I filters, thus improving its database in the AAVSO. Regarding the exposure time and number of images per filter, I accept the suggestion, because I understand that it will depend on the telescope to which it will be allocated.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Eric,

ASAS-SN serves both V and g data. Since the end of 2018 they only observe in the Sloan g band:

Just so you know for the future. You have to go to the ASAS-SN Sky Patrol page (follow the VSX external link) to get all the data (enter 5500 or so in the "Number of days to go back" field), if you only get data from the variable star catalog page, there they only provide the early V data, which is pre-processed (and usually have issues).

Hello Sebastião!

I don't understand why few observations appeared in ASAS-SN. I always put more than 5,000 days in the searches. In fact, I usually put 10,000 days when searching. I'll try to understand why it appeared. However, does the fact that there are photometries in ASAS-SN affect the approval of my request?
As I mentioned, we only have 9 observations with AAVSO, and thinking about improving our database, I made the proposal for this star.

Thank you for your attention.

No, it's fine, just mentioned it in case you were looking for additional data for it and/or for any other star.
