Proposal

Good morning, I'm Sauro Gaudenzi, my observer code is GSAD, in support of AAVSO alert nr 876. I ask for the use of a telescope to observe the exoplanet Hat-p 23, I ask that at least 2 observations be made per week until November 20th, 30 shots of 60 seconds with V filters and R.Drs. Bradley Hutson (Arizona State University) and Robert Zellum (NASA Goddard Space Flight Center) request photometry in support of their exoplanet study of Hat-P-23. Dr. Hutson writes: "We have detected variability using TESS data, but it matches up suspiciously with the spacecraft's momentum dump cadences. So we are trying to determine if the detected variability is caused by the space craft or if it is in fact, variable." AAVSO observations will be valuable in assessing the TESS data on Hat-P-23 and possible variability. Thank you very much and have a nice day

Based on the ASAS-3 data, the TAC recommends a different observing strategy: longer in-night observations (maybe an hour or two, or two one-hour sets separated by 2 hours or more) and do them nightly.

Ok 2 sets of one hour separated by 2 hours or more are fine, thank you very much for the collaboration
