Proposal

Hello!!
Thinking about collaborating with the AAVSO 880 campaign requested by Dr. Gary Hawkins, I would like to request images of the stars EV LAC and AD LEO.
The campaign requests images in the B and V filters, but I would also like to request the R and I filters, complementing the data for these stars in the four main filters. The exposure time requested by the campaign is a 30-second cadence, but I will leave it to the observatory's discretion, depending on the telescope used.
Regarding the frequency of the images, the campaign requests as many nights as possible, but I also leave it within the possibilities of the observatory.

Targets
Target RA (H.HH) Dec (D.DD) Magnitude Telescope Observation Frequency Expiration Date Proprietary Term
EV Lac 22.780481 44.33400 8.28–11.83 No
AD Leo 10.326742 19.87003 8.07–11.0 No

Ken, per the TAC discussion on this and proposal #588, let's do RI for this project on one telescope and BV on another telescope for proposal #588.

Dirk et al:

This Red Dwarf campaign requests full night runs. This could take every night for a year on 2 scopes to run as requested in campaign. What does the TAC propose be approved?? A time series on a couple of nights will accomplish nothing for this campaign since the flares are non-periodic.

I need more guidance from TAC before I am going to create a proposal. This is a waste of time.

Hello Dirk and Kenneth!!

I confess that I overlooked that in the campaign request the observations must be for whole nights and not for a period of time, for this reason, I propose to cancel and discard this proposal.
I thank you for your attention and dedication and I apologize for the error!

Eric Marques
