| Proposal | I would like to get an Rc filter image for PSN J12355230+2755559 once every clear night. RTH proposed this object some months ago and apparently it was rejected as "another" observer was observing it. Yet there is no active proposal in the queue and no observations from AAVSONet in the AAVSO db. There have been no observations during 2025 using AAVSONet telescopes as far as I can tell. I have observed it with my Atik490EX (Rc) and Esprit 100 triplet when bright several times during dark time. This object is an SDOR in NGC 4459 and which has 2 to 3 magnitude dwarf nova like outbursts every 113d on average.. Campaign 882 https://apps.aavso.org/v2/campaigns/882 has the requested information. No cadence specified but once every clear night would be appropriate. The goal would be to detect the outburst so no great need to reach all the way to minimum. It is a difficult field with a small telescope without good resolution as it is involved in an HII region. "I need a bigger telescope"--from the movie Contact. |

Of course, NGC 4559 is the correct galaxy.

Proposal #592 by RTH is currently active. Last year, Walt Cooney was observing it.

Well all I see from RTH in 2025 is from a 1m SARA La Palma and 0.9m SARA Kitt Peak in the db. So I guess the SARA Kitt Peak and La Palma are AAVSOnet assets then...? There are no observations from MPO61 or TMO61 or any other AAVSOnet asset as far as I can tell in 2025 in the db. I'll keep on with my Esprit 100 then.
