Proposal

Hello everyone, I am Jiashuo Zhang. My observer code is ZZHA.

AT 2025mau (=ZTF25aanmbuo=KATS25K015) is a Microlensing Event candidate classified by XOSS. According to photometric data from ALeRCE, this target is currently in a continuous brightening phase (visible at https://alerce.online/object/ZTF25aanmbuo). Standard models predict that this target has a high probability of reaching a peak magnitude of 13th magnitude.

I hope to capture three images each night using B, R, V, and I filters. It is preferable to have approximately one hour between each round of observations. This observation campaign will last for a total of one week.

Utilizing the observation data will allow us to further confirm the nature of this target and its brightness variations across each band. This data will be used for subsequent professional analysis and research.

I would like these images to be downloadable as FITS files for further analysis. Related photometric results will be fully uploaded to AAVSO after the proprietary data period expires.

FYI, based on typical weather variation, it is very likely that it will take more than 1 week to collect enough data!?

Will this Microlensing Event happen at a particular time or is it active now?

The target is currently in the process of brightening, with ZTF data from the 10th showing approximately 16th magnitude. It may reach a peak magnitude of around 13th around the 18th, before gradually declining thereafter.

Committed to MPO61. Report when you have enough images.
