Proposal | NSV 1161 is a T Tauri star, probably of the AA Tau subtype with an unusually large amplitude. It has a very complex light curve. It has a periodic part with a period of 2.1 days and an amplitude of about 1.5 magnitudes, in addition to this a random variation of another 2 magnitudes. To follow its long-term behavior, I suggest that it be observed with BVRI filters once a night, a couple of times a week at least until spring 2026. Its variation in I: mag 11.5-15, R: mag 12.5-16, V: mag 13.5-17, B: mag 14.5-18. |
