| Proposal | Hello everyone, I am Jiashuo Zhang. My observer code is ZZHA. M31N 2008-12a is a recurrent nova in M31, erupting approximately once every year. The eruption this year is predicted to occur between November 2025 and January 2026. I hope to start taking two V-band images of M31N 2008-12a daily from now on. This will help us confirm its eruption or constrain the timing of its outburst. Additionally, the telescope's field of view should be slightly larger. This imaging campaign is expected to last for three months. To achieve reliable upper limits on brightness, the data should ideally reach a limiting magnitude of 19 or fainter. Cheers, |
