| Proposal | For several years I have been participating in the Pro-Am campaigns organized by English astrophycist led by Matt Dearnley (Liverpool University) to detect the quasi-annual outburst of the extragalactic nova M31N 2008-12a. This year's outburst is expected to occur between November and early January 2026. Since my private observatory is currently closed due to technical issues, I am requesting observation time in order to participae in this campaign, both as an individual and as an AAVSO member. For this, I only need a short series of shots every night when it is possible to observe it in one the AAVSOnet observatory in the northern hemisphere. I suggest using the FSM-SRO50 for this purpose. A set of 10 x100" exposures per night would be sufficient and would not significantly impact other projects. Since the primary goal of this campaign is to detect the outburst, the use of photometric filters is not necessary, but the images should be calibrated with darks and flats. Important Note: Since it is very important to detect the potential explosion as soon as possible, it is crucial to be able to download the images as soon as possible to check the field. |

Note that this target is the subject of an existing project that has been allocated time. (#657)

Ah, really sorry, I wasn't aware of that. Therefore, I withdraw my proposal, thank you.
