Abstract

(Abstract only) The dwarf Cepheid CY Aqr (period 88 minutes) has undergone 350,000 cycles since its discovery in 1934. Abrupt period changes seem to occur at intervals of 15 years. The latest period change, which occurred in 1989-1990, slowed the period by 27 milliseconds per cycle.
