Abstract
(Abstract only) For many CCD systems and many sites, photometric observations of variable sources are the most useful and easiest science to perform. Differential measures are extremely attractive as they are simple to obtain and allow observations even in non-photometric weather. Included are discussions of the basic ideas of differential photometry, presentation of some details on the observational set-ups to consider, a brief discussion of data reduction, and suggestions of ways to validate your results. Some enhanced techniques for even better results are also included.
