Abstract

(Abstract only) The ASTROCOMPASS constitutes the first ever "Gravity Compass." Just like hitherto dimensional compasses which differentiate among cardinal compass points, this novel instrument permits easy differentiation among angular measures in declination. The ASTROCOMPASS will help in the acquisition of astronomical gtargets, adding degrees, minutes, and seconds to conventional positional data. It may simplify pinpointing position in the alt-azimuth mode.
