Abstract

(Abstract only) The Grainger Observatory at Phillips Exeter Academy is a new teaching observatory designed to accommodate a large number of students in an outdoor setting. Observing programs appropriate for high school students have been developed over the past three years, including visual studies of selected long period variables and dwarf novae and photographic photometry of quasars.
