Abstract

Five desktop computer simulations for the modeling of stellar properties and the variations of eclipsing binaries and pulsating stars are described. Their relationships to the various stages of data modeling are indicated with a concept map. These simulations can be used for demonstrations, for homework, or qualitative data analysis.
