Abstract
The Madrid Astronomical Society Supernova Search Group M-1 was founded in 1989, and since then has been monitoring the most significant supernovae observable by its members. Research results from 2000 are presented, including images, data, and light curves of SN 1991gi in NGC 2184, SN 2000db in NGC 3949, and SN 2000dk in NGC 382. We discuss briefly SN 2000E and SN 1999el, which appeared in the same galaxy and are shown in an image. Also, we compare the absolute magnitudes of the brightest supernovae studied by the M-1 Group this (2000E, 2000cs, 2000dk) to the currently expected theoretical values. Finally, we try to explain some of the oddities seen in SN 2000cs in HGC 524. All observations and images discuessed in this report were made by theM-1 Group members listed in Table 1.
