Abstract

(Abstract only) This presentation discusses lessons learned about building an observatory by someone with limited construction experience, and the advantages of having a observatory roll-off roof for imaging and variable star studies. Sample results shown of composite light curves for cataclysmic variables UX UMa and V1101 Aql with data from my observatory combined with data from others around the world.
