Abstract

(Abstract only) Recent electronic observations have shown that amateurs can obtain very high quality data from modest equipment. This talk shows several such observations and shows how they can be used to determine the type of eclipse, re-evaluate historical visual data, and calculate accuracy of times of minimum eclipse, and looks at the variation of the period and possible causes.
