Abstract
Last year (2017), Canada celebrated its 150th birthday. This year (2018), the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) does likewise. In recent AAVSO Newsletters, I’ve written short articles about both Canadian astronomy (April 2017) and about the RASC (January 2018). In this article, I will complete the trilogy with a brief overview of variable star astronomy in Canada.
