Abstract

I first observed VX Sagittarii while blinking two plates of the region taken at Nantucket. The star was originally discovered by henrietta Leavitt in 1904, and has been on the AAVSO observing program since 1935. I was originally interested in comparing its photographic and visual light curves. VX Sagittarii isa semiregular varible with an extremely long period.
