Abstract:
The Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams has informed us of the photographic discovery of a supernova in NGC 1380 by William Liller on 1992 January 11.16 UT at magnitude 12.8. Another nova, Nova Puppis 1991 [V351 Pup], continues to be quite bright.
Justification:
To inform the astronomical community about the discoveries and monitor the supernova and nova.
