Announcement of 800 telephone line for AAVSO HQ AND Requests for data support for satellite observations of variable stars

Abstract:

An 800-number telephone line has been added at AAVSO Headquarters to enable observers in the USA to report variable star observations, particularly for NASA's EUVE mission.

Justification:

Astronomers have requested AAVSO's assistance in monitoring variable stars for Voyager, EUVE, Hubble Space Telescope (HST), and International Ultraviolet Explorer (IUE) missions.
