Abstract:

Photographic discovery of a nova by Paul Camilleri on October 13.40 UT at photovisual magnitude 9.0. Robert McNaught confirmed the presence of the nova with precise position (1950): R.A. = 18h 20m 39.43s Dec. = -23o 01' 05.5".

Justification:

Observation of newly discovered nova in Sagittarii.
