Supernova in NGC 3031 (M81) AND Outburst of 0749+22 U Geminorum AND Fading of 0543+19 SU Tauri AND Request to monitor 1834-23 V348 Sagittarii

Active Dates: March 18, 1993 – March 30, 1993

Abstract:

This campaign involves monitoring several interesting astronomical objects, including a newly discovered supernova in NGC 3031 (M81), an outbursting cataclysmic variable star U Geminorum, a fading R Coronae Borealis star SU Tauri, and the request to monitor V348 Sagittarii.

Justification:

Campaign justified by the discovery of a possible supernova, outbursts, and fading of variable stars, along with requests from astronomers for monitoring certain objects.

Requested Data Types:

Photometry, Spectroscopy
