Abstract:

This notice reports the photographic discovery of a nova in the constellation Ophiuchus, a bright supernova in NGC 3031 (M81), and a request to monitor the symbiotic star FG Serpentis.

Justification:

Monitoring new astronomical phenomena and gathering data on their magnitudes and positions.
