Abstract:

The launch of NASA's space shuttle Discovery, carrying the ORFEUS mission, was canceled for the third time on August 12, 1993, during the last minute before launch. NASA has rescheduled the launch of Discovery for September 12, 1993.

Justification:

Observations of cataclysmic variables are vital to the success of research with the ORFEUS mission.
