Alert Notice 182: 1229+08 Supernova 1994D in NGC 4526 AND 1844-21 Nova Sagittarii 1994??? [V4332 Sgr]
Active Dates: March 7, 1994 – March 11, 1994
Abstract:
This campaign focuses on observing the supernova 1994D in NGC 4526 and the nova Sagittarii 1994 (V4332 Sgr). The supernova was discovered on March 7, 1994, and is expected to reach a magnitude of 11 to 12. The nova Sagittarii 1994 has shown a significant drop in brightness from early March to date.
Justification:
Close monitoring of the supernova's brightness to observe its evolution. The nova's unusual behavior warrants continuous observation to understand its nature.
