Alert Notice 186: Bright outburst of UV Per
Abstract:
The dwarf nova-type cataclysmic variable UV Per is having a bright outburst (possibly superoutburst). If this is indeed a superoutburst, both visual observers and those with CCDs are strongly recommended to look for its superhumps.
Justification:
Monitoring its superhumps can provide valuable data regarding the nova's behavior.
