Abstract:

The dwarf nova-type cataclysmic variable UV Per is having a bright outburst (possibly superoutburst). If this is indeed a superoutburst, both visual observers and those with CCDs are strongly recommended to look for its superhumps.

Justification:

Monitoring its superhumps can provide valuable data regarding the nova's behavior.
