Outburst of 2110+13 EF Pegasi AND Request to monitor some Hipparacos red variables for photometric calibration

Abstract:
The American Association of Variable Star Observers reports the outburst of the cataclysmic variable EF Peg. Observations and reports from various astronomers confirm the outburst. Observers are requested to monitor EF Peg and some Hipparcos red variables for photometric calibration using multicolor data.
Justification:
Monitoring EF Peg's outburst helps in understanding its behavior, particularly since EF Peg is a poorly-studied dwarf nova. The Hipparcos red variables need monitoring to calibrate satellite photometry with multicolor data.
