1140+48 Supernova 1998S in NGC 3877 AND Fading of 1921+50 CH Cygni

Active Dates: March 2, 1998 – March 13, 1998

Abstract:

Supernova 1998S in NGC 3877 and the fading of CH Cygni are being investigated. The supernova was discovered by Zhou Wan and the fading variable CH Cyg is being monitored.

Justification:

Investigate supernova 1998S in NGC 3877 discovered by Zhou Wan and monitor the fading of symbiotic variable CH Cygni to understand their behavior.
