Abstract:
Observer Alfredo Pereira discovered a bright nova in Aquila on Dec. 1.785 UT at a visual magnitude of 6.0 during his visual search of the area using 14x100 binoculars, with confirmation from multiple observers.
Justification:
To report and confirm observations of the new nova discovered in Aquila and inform the astronomical community.
