Active Dates: Feb. 4, 2000 – Feb. 23, 2000

Abstract:

The alert notice announces the discovery of a possible nova in Sagittarius by Yukio Sakurai and calls for monitoring several other variable stars including UX Ori, BF Ori, RR Tau, and AN Ursae Majoris which will be observed using the EUVE satellite.

Justification:

Monitoring UX Ori, BF Ori, and RR Tau for high-resolution spectra observations by the University of Washington; monitoring AN Ursae Majoris for EUVE satellite observations by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
