1805-30 Nova Sagittarii 2001 No. 3
Abstract:
Independently discovered by Alfredo Pereira and William Liller, this apparent nova in Sagittarius was visually discovered by Pereira on September 5, 2001, and photographically by Liller on September 3, 2001. Follow-up observations were made by various astronomers, confirming the nova.
Justification:
To observe the characteristics of the nova in Sagittarius, understand its brightness changes, and study the emission lines.
